Simply awesome! Is there a way I could help with Spanish subs? (and Catalan if requested). Would love to help and make this beloved project grow. Also any possibility of in-game update? (I know this would be too much to ask, but... just asking!)
Would like to make a bug report: So I played through the game but I cannot seem to pick up the phone this time. Its ringing but zooming in is not triggering it to answer. I activated the foyer light by walking backwards if that makes a difference. This is the latest build.
Awesome... MY GERMAN LINES ARE IN THE GAME!!! Edit damn it even here I misspelled "German" with "Germany". Should pay more Attention sorry for that...
Don´t know what to say here... Thanks...You are the best!!!
One little Suggestion, is minor so this can wait...
also replace the English Lines as well, they are really badly translated in the Original Game, the English ones that i have sent you in my Comment are way better... only if you want to of course.
I'm on the last loop. I managed to reach the end, I only watched one video at the middle of the demo because I was going in circles. But on the last loop is getting really difficult. Is it necessary to have that microphone sound, or are there other alternatives?
1: Wait a minute for the Clock to strike for Midnight.
2: Take ten steps and then stop for the first Babylaugh.
3: Plug in a Microphone, go near Lisa Haunting and make random Sounds into your Mic. That´s enought I was able to trigger the second Babylaugh with the Fan noise of my PC alone while standing near Lisa Haunting, doesn´t matter if she is in the Hallway, in the Mirror or outside the Window.
4: After the second Laugh your Flashlight will start to flicker: Don´t move!!! If you move you have to do everything all over again by just exiting the Loop. After a while you will hear the third and final Babylaugh.
5: The Phone will ring. Pick up the phone by zooming in on it. Than you are done here, just exit the Loop like usual.
Congratulations you have beaten this awesome P.T. Remake!!!
But there's a little problem here — actually, not so little. When I try to grab the flashlight on the bathroom floor, the game freezes and throws a fatal error that stops me from continuing the game
Love the updates, the screen glitch room looks better now.
I noticed one odd thing with the shadows of the objects on the first counter (where the phone is). When you are close, the shadows disappear but you can see them re-appear as you move away backwards.
-- the one thing off about is you can only do this Glitch one single Time at the Final Loop in this Remake, in the Original you can do this as many Times as you want in whatever Loop you want.
-In the original, Lisa could kill you only once per game session
-- Not quite right, per normal Means you are correct but in the two instances the Loop is infinite (Hanging Fridge Loop and Final Loop) after exactly 51 Loops Lisa will jumpscare the Player at the End of the Loop. This will alway happen no matter how many Times you got jumpscared before... And when you fall out of bounds Lisa will always attack the Player as a Failsafe.
-The second laugh being tied to a Lisa haunting can be frustrating and inconsistent at times, especially when you get too close and she possesses you, requiring you to enter the next loop since she will not respawn after that
-- Agree with that one, it should just be like Original Game where you simply need to say "Jack" into your Microphone after the Clock strikes for Midnight.
-Norman Reedus walk animation in final reveal teaser looks a bit janky
-- Jeah Animation work is one of the hardest parts... but the Effort is still appreciated. As long as you don´t expect him to fix this in a few Weeks I am fine with this. Animationwork can take up to Months...
-Lisa will only spawn in 5 locations during hauntings (mirror, left window, middle window, loop starting area and staircase doorframe). Bathroom, next to the clock and right window are missing (bathroom spawn was rare, but possible)
-- I also want to add that when she spawns next to the Bathroom and you are standing in the Hallway with the Clock there is no way of not getting possessed by her after turning the Corner. I think her Spawn location needs Adjustments here.
With the rest i agree with you...
But there is one more thing: In the Orginal Game like mentioned before in the two instances the Loop is infinite (Hanging Fridge Loop and Final Loop) after exactly 51 Loops Lisa will jumpscare you at the End of the Hallway. In this Remake this is not the case...
Why did i bring this up: Because I noticed something strange by keep looping over and over again. The Hallway gets more and more foggy. I didn´t notice it first but loop for 50 Times you will see what I mean. And the fog gets thicker and thicker the more you loop.
After around 120 Loops you can´t even see the Walls anymore...
If this is intended for a hidden Easter Egg or so I apologize but for some Reason I think it´s not, is probably some unintended Behavior after reloading the Loop over and over again.
Easiest Fix for this would be to just bring the Lisa 51 Loops kill back... after around 500 Loops I just let myself get jumpscared by Lisa and than after dying the Hallway looks like it should...
I wouldn´t call the Backwards bug a Cheat at all, it doesn´t make the Game easier in any way whatsoever. Sometimes it even can destroy the Mood what was supposed to be conveyed. Here you can also clearly see the more advanced Lighting of Unreal Engine 5 against the original Fox Engine. Dynamic Lights just look better period. When you do the Glitch in the Original Game you can clearly see the Developers not intended for you to do this, this is not the case here.
I hope i didn´t sound harsh with my I hope you don´t expect Line. If i did I am sorry. That was not my Intention.
And lastly you can check the Fog Glitch out in my Youtube Video just in case you are curious...btw the unedited Raw Video was 1 and half hour long, way too long...
All good. Just one thing: Unreal P.T. by Radius Gordello was a College Project and was only in Development for a few Months. So comparing that is a bit unfair. I think in this Time he did a fantastic Job.
it is in many Ways even better than P.T. Emulation 1.4 by Artur Łączkowski that while looking better at Surface Level is a technical Mess with broken Lighting, broken Animations and even gamebreaking Bugs that were in the Game for the first Build but never got fixed even after the Game was put behind a Patreon Paywall. That Game had a Development Time for a bit over two Years.
I just don´t like Comparing in General for this Reason... you always get hang up on something...
For me the technical Side is the most important one, even more important than making everything look fancy, especially in a P.T. Remake. And this Remake is the absolut best one... It is miles ahead of every other Remake made in similar Timeframes. I know because I played almost every P.T. Remake.
And just so you know. I also played the Original P.T. on PS4 for over 1500 hours so me holding this in high Regard should speak for itself.
I JUST noticed after 20 days you were updating, but keeping the same version number, if possible can you add the build number to each release so we can keep variants and know which is which? Ex: ProjectTeaserV0.9.4 (12062025). I only knew of an update because I seen a changelog update. Great work RickiE7an
This is a great effort. But it has some issues i would like to report:
- The endless red corridor loop looks strange. It looks cleaner than it should, brighter and not as blurry or "dreamlike". It also has some very distracting visual artifacts. - The "video glitch" loop also doesn't look correct because it here it looks like a broken glass, which is not ho it looks in the original - The sound is also a bit weird. The footsteps are mixed with a random sound that sounds like something is dragged on the floor. - The fetus animation isn't as good and when you light it with the flashlight, half of it is hidden behind the sink's shadow. - The shadows cast under and over the lamps on the left wall are too dark and too pronounced.
So far these are the issues i noticed. Other than that it's great. Love the cockroaches.
This is a double Post, I also send you this Message to your Youtube Video "PT UE5 Fan Remake Cut Content - ´204863´ Ending.
Consider making an improved Translation of all the hidden Text and Audiomessages. I don´t know if you know this but the Textmessages had horrible Translation in the Original PS4 P.T.
Here is what I would replace them with, the English translation is from the original english Transcript, it´s just way better than the awful one in the original Game.
The German Translation was made by me, it´s not as good as the English Transcript but it´s still way better than the one used in the Original.
English:
I walked till I stood one pace before Jack.
Heart pounding
I whispered his name.
But the night wind stole his voice away.
In the moment our hands overlap
We share in an instant of private darkness.
His touch, cold as marble.
Cold, and shivering all over.
Never moving a step, his Hand in mine.
I waited for it to pass.
And through the mists of waning consciousness
I thought I heard a phone ring.
You’ve been chosen.
What do you think? I think they are pretty good and would be perfect for a Remake of P.T... Of course feel free to ignore this if you don´t want to include them
first off, this is the single best remake of P.T. , it's so close to 1:1 and none of the others are even close to the same level. I've been pretty obsessed with P.T. since it came out, so I thought I'd write down a list of things I noticed that were off from the original, if most of these are fixed I think this will be nearly 100% on par with the original. They are all fairly small things, but all together they add up to make it feel more like a remake and less like the original
- Talking bag only works if you get the jumpscare, if you go by the jumpscare and just get back to the starting room from the crash he wont talk, in the original he does.
- The headbob is too subtle, its much more exaggerated in the original which makes the player movement feel a lot weightier
- In the "gouge it out" hall, you should be able to see the shadow of lisa following you as you come up the hall
- The lisa jumpscare itself definitely needs a little work, honestly would not be mad if in that scenario only it just played the clip from the game. That jumpscare is too well crafted to properly recreate in my opinion
- The doors look a little funky. Either they are too shiny or the normal map is messed up a bit, maybe both
- The outside door in the main area doesn't make the locked sound when you walk into it
- The flashlight range is definitely too far, very evident when you see lisa on the balcony, in the original she will be just barely illuminated making it pretty terrifying, but here she is completely lit up making it a bit goofy looking. This is also caused by the lamp on the table having too big of a range
- In the bathroom, the door should only reopen if you zoom on the mirror, just glancing at it doesn't open it in the original which makes it more of a puzzle
- In the speedy red loop, different music should play depending on which direction the player is looking in
- The blood from the fridge should cover the player camera
Just to clarify, don't mean for any of this to be hating on this remake. It is genuinely amazing. It's just SO close to being perfect and I want to see it be the first remake to do it
- Talking bag only works if you get the jumpscare, if you go by the jumpscare and just get back to the starting room from the crash he wont talk, in the original he does.
--??? The Bag does work the exact same Way as in the Original. When you get jumpscared before the Bag talks. If not it won´t. Don´t get what you mean here.
- In the "gouge it out" hall, you should be able to see the shadow of lisa following you as you come up the hall --You can see her Shadow behind you in this Loop, it´s clearly visible when you light your Flashlight at the Walls the Shadow just doesn´t cast through the entire Hallway like in the Original.
- The lisa jumpscare itself definitely needs a little work, honestly would not be mad if in that scenario only it just played the clip from the game. That jumpscare is too well crafted to properly recreate in my opinion.
-- Clearly Nope this one should stay in Real Time, adding a Clip from the OG leads only to the same Issue P.T. Emulation 1.4 has. It totally puts you out of the Game and also this would be a total Nightmare to do on a technical Level. I mean just accounting for every Angle you can get attacked by Lisa... Just No.
- In the bathroom, the door should only reopen if you zoom on the mirror, just glancing at it doesn't open it in the original which makes it more of a puzzle
--Wrong, you only need to look at the Mirror. the Way it´s done here in this Remake is correct, the only thing wrong is you have to wait slightly longer than in the Original.
Here is also some Points you have missed.
Cockroaches are missing in the Bathroom and next to the Radio in the Loop where the Moderator says look behind you.
When Lisa stands in the Hallway and the Light goes out she despawns in the Original Game at the same Time, but honestly I kind of like that she doesn´t do this in this Remake until you walk right up to her.
When Lisa stands on the Balcony you hear some Footsteps in the Original Game even if she in Reality didn´t move at all, must be to signal the Player to look up. She also waits longer before moving backwards in the Original Game. But Credit were credit is due, this is the best Animation of Lisa on the Balcony that I have seen in any of those Remakes only the Original has better Animations, really this one looks really good!!! She only seems to lack some Hair features in this Scene.
Final loop puzzle Issues: The take 10 steps and then stop counter doesn´t reset everytime you make less or more than 10 steps.
The say Jack Trigger is not included it is simply enough to make any kind of Noise while being near Lisa Haunting.
When you play with a Controller you could bring back Vibration like in the Original Game after the second Laugh, just a minor Thing. But of course the flickering Flashlight can stay when you play with Mouse and Keyboard I am totally fine with that.
In the Original Game Lisa can only attack you a single Time through normal Means. This includes the Moment where the Radio Moderator says Look behind you and the two Instances the Loop is infinite (Hanging Fridge Loop and Final Loop). So after you got jumpscared once you are safe as long as you keep the Game running.
Also minor, That Lisa is able to attack you multiple Times in a row is okay in my Book.
In case you didn´t know, There are only two Ways of getting jumpscared a second or more Times in the Original Game.
First: In the two Instances the Loop is infinite (Hanging Fridge Loop and Final Loop) after exactly 51 Loops Lisa will alway jumpscare the Player at the End of the Hallway, this will always happen no matter how many Times this happend before. Was probably made like this to indicate the Player that simply ending the Loop doesn´t progess the Game.
Second: If the Player falls out of bounds Lisa will attack the Player as a Failsafe.
Awesome. For some Reason I still think the 51 Loops kill was made intentional, why would the Killbox not be reached when you enter the Hallway and let you walk until you are in front of the Stairs... it´s me just guessing here of course.
This Controller Vibration thing, okay I explain it better.
After the second Babylaugh: It would be cool if you only feel the Vibration in your Controller and the flickering Lights get deactivated when you play with a Controller, of course the flickering can stay when you play with Mouse and Keyboard and that the Vibration mimicks the one of the Original.
I know this is kind of hard to explain when you have never played the Orginal put the Controller vibrates in a specific Way, not joking.
I recommend just trying to play the Game on Shadps4 and beating the Game with a Controller, you will see what I mean. I know is kind of a pain in the Ass with Crashing but this is still better than trying to get a PS4 with P.T. still installed on there.
Also it would be also cool to deactive Vibration with every Step you are making, should be an Option.
Yeah I know... This Stuff is very minor and can wait... I am just an absolute Nerd that picks up even the smallest Details.
And what the out of bounds Glitch is concerned...
There are a bunch of Glitches you can perform in the Original Game to clip out of bounds. I remember there was a trick approaching the Door in the Concrete Room from a certain Angle which for whatever Reason will despawn the Door.
I did this one Time in the Red Eyeball Loop, after that the Loop gets even scarier than it already is, you can get even jumpscared in here by LIsa.
Right when you enter the Hallway the Game treats the Player like he is possessed by Lisa, And also something happens with the Hallway itself, for some Reason it´s unable to load the second part of the Hallway.
You can see the Hallway now broken and fall out of bounds here.
Yeah I have played P.T. for over 1500 Hours and did some crazy Research here. I know every single Trigger of the entire Game on the Back of my Hand.
Maybe I can help. The Game has Issues launching when the Gamefolder has too many Subfolders.
So for example when it´s like this: ProjectTeaserV0.9.4 - ProjectTeaserV0.9.4 - ProjectTeaserV0.9.4 - ProjectTeaser - Windows - ProjectTeaser.exe
the Game will always Crash with a Fatal Error Message just like you descriped, the other DX11 and Vulcan exe also produce the same Error.
Test this if you don´t believe me. I can reproduce this with 2 or more Subfolders Name doesn´t matter.
To fix this just shorten up the path to the exe like this: ProjectTeaserV0.9.4 - ProjectTeaser - Windows - ProjectTeaser.exe. Than the Game should launch without Problems.
It might still softlock during bootup but this can be fixed by just ending the Game in Task Manager and relaunching the Game.
I am not sure why the exe is so stinchy with too many Subfolders though... Really no Idea why this is the case.
Wow what a solid recreation this truly is! It has it all the way down to the smallest details which is fairly impressive to say the least. Out of many recreations this takes the cake for sure. Stellar graphics as well although I did not know about the settings page so I was playing on medium settings but still it looked pretty accurate to the original game. Made a video on it.

Ok it seemed to be permanantly broken no matter how many times I looped and redid the ending. Restarting the game.
It seems to be broken no matter what. Restarted the game, looped a few times. But nothing fixes it and so zooming in does not trigger the phone.
Alright finally got it to trigger after several more restarts. Definitely weird.
Hope you rike it, I need to take a long break now. So no more further request taken rn.
Hi! Congratulations on this great work on P.T.
I'm on the last loop. I managed to reach the end, I only watched one video at the middle of the demo because I was going in circles. But on the last loop is getting really difficult. Is it necessary to have that microphone sound, or are there other alternatives?
You need a Microphone to beat this:
Remake!!!
Yes, it's going to be difficult to finish without a microphone 😅 I'm using an Xbox controller, but will it work with a laptop's microphone?
As long as Windows or whatever OS you are using recognises the Microphone you can use whatever you want.
I use the Microphone in my Dualsense Controller!!!
Ok , thx for you response !
I played this game on:
Os: win 11
Cpu: Intel core i5 8500
Ram: 16 gig ram 2666 mhz
Video card: Rx580 8gb
But there's a little problem here — actually, not so little. When I try to grab the flashlight on the bathroom floor, the game freezes and throws a fatal error that stops me from continuing the game
Love the updates, the screen glitch room looks better now.
I noticed one odd thing with the shadows of the objects on the first counter (where the phone is). When you are close, the shadows disappear but you can see them re-appear as you move away backwards.
Here are my two cents:
Love the return of the backwards door bug.
-- the one thing off about is you can only do this Glitch one single Time at the Final Loop in this Remake, in the Original you can do this as many Times as you want in whatever Loop you want.

Can´t wait until it´s 1.0 final Release!!!
I have to ask you something... Does anything happen if you just keep looping in the Final Loop of the Game???
The Orginal Game ends after loop 51 with a Jumpscare of Lisa, was just curious if the same thing happens here.
But slowly i noticed the Hallway gets foggier and foggier every Time you loop, I didn´t notice it at first but after loop 50 jeah it get´s foggier...
Than after loop 300 I couldn´t even see a Thing anymore, is that intended or a Bug???
I still kept going... and going, it was so foggy i couldn´t even see the Walls anymore... I don´t know after loop 500 or so I gave up...
Pretty sure this is not intended but it doesn´t hurt asking right?
But the Lisa Jumpscare in this Fog, holy shit. Never in my Life got me this one so like this one...
Edit 1: Have now recreated it in a Youtube Video: Check it out here:
...Whatever...

This is the third Update of "V0.9.4" since the first Upload here.
So you could call this one "V0.9.4.3".
That is definitely a great suggestion!
What is the password to extract the zip file
After update everything works fine <3
Great. I think the door materials need to be adjusted, their shine is often weird when you use the flashlight

Okay, I’ll add German language in 0.9.5, but that’s gonna wait a while.
Hello!
1. Even if I use the highest settings and resolution, the textures still look very blurry. Is this intended?
2. How about adding Russian language support next? That would be very convenient.

It's just SO close to being perfect and I want to see it be the first remake to do it
Thanks for the review, I will try my best.
Agree with a lot of your Points but...
- Talking bag only works if you get the jumpscare, if you go by the jumpscare and just get back to the starting room from the crash he wont talk, in the original he does.
--??? The Bag does work the exact same Way as in the Original. When you get jumpscared before the Bag talks. If not it won´t. Don´t get what you mean here.- In the "gouge it out" hall, you should be able to see the shadow of lisa following you as you come up the hall
--You can see her Shadow behind you in this Loop, it´s clearly visible when you light your Flashlight at the Walls the Shadow just doesn´t cast through the entire Hallway like in the Original.
Cool, I did implemented the out of bounds kill, but I don’t think you’ll be able to clip out and see that lol.
That 51 loops to kill in the original game is probably due to console memory limit or just simply triggered the out of bounds kill box.
Also controller vibration is included, even walking haptic feedback.
‘You seem to be a fan of Hideo Kojima Games.’
I am also a fan of your new Lisa Jumpscare Animation. 10 out of 10!!!
After launching ProjectTeaser.exe i've got a Fatal Error message and then game crashes
What should i do?
EDIT 1: I've updated Redist and tried to launch .exe file as Administrator and still have same Fatal Error message
Hi there, try running DX11 or Vulkan in the game folder.
Unfortunately nothing changed, Still same message.
Sorry to hear that, could you send the crash log file to RickieTan@foxmail.com ?
It’s located at C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\ProjectTeaser\Saved\Crashes
Sent
Hey. Eager to give it a go but getting the same issue as well. Ill send you the crash report also.
Or you can try download the Save File I provided on Google Drive, this might avoid crashing when entering the game.
Im really sorry to say that, but it's still doesn't work
Maybe I can help.
CANT EXTRACT IT
Hi there, you'll need an unzip software such as WinRAR/7 Zip to extract the game.
Ah this takes me back to the good old days, i miss these games
cant unzip gives error message that file corrupt or password changed?
Hi there, make sure you have enter the passcode "kojimaisgod" correctly.
